Connect your AI to SET.

Connect an MCP-capable assistant to SET with OAuth or a connection code. Read saved training history and create private workout plans.

Connect your AI

What you need

A SET account and an assistant that supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP. Your client must support OAuth or a custom Authorization header. Connection settings and mobile availability vary by client.

MCP lets an assistant use your saved SET data directly: training history, exercises, splits, plans, and permitted body data. It can also create exercises and private training plans.

01Add SET to your assistant

Open AI connections in the SET dashboard. Under Install, choose Copy prompt for the connection instructions. If your assistant cannot configure itself, use its MCP or connector settings.

Choose a remote server with Streamable HTTP transport and enter:

https://fitness.olaurent.com/api/mcp

02Authorize access

First, sign in to the SET dashboard. Under Authenticate, enter a connection name, choose New code, then Copy code. The code is shown once; keep it private.

For OAuth, start authorization in your assistant. On the SET page titled Connect followed by your client’s name, enter the code in Connection code and choose Connect. SET returns you to the client. Choose Cancel to decline.

For direct bearer authentication, put the code in your client’s credential field or configure Authorization: Bearer <code>. Do not include the code in public prompts or screenshots.

The code is displayed when created and remains usable until revoked. Code connections grant training read, body read, and training write access. OAuth tokens use the scopes requested by the client; the authorization page does not offer a permission picker.

03Check the connection

Use SET to summarize my saved training history and active split. Do not create or change anything.

Your assistant should call SET and return your data. If the account is new, an empty history is expected. Save a completed workout in SET before asking for a training review.

If no tools appear, check remote MCP support and the transport setting. If authentication fails, reconnect through OAuth or create a new code. Check that your connection is still Active in SET.

Stay in control

Ask your assistant to show a complete plan and wait for approval before saving or activating it. Activating a new plan replaces the active plan and split.

Under Connections, choose Revoke and confirm to stop that connection’s future access. This does not erase data already received by your assistant or remove plans it created.

Next: build a plan from your history, read the MCP reference, or return to SET for AI.
